    Resets

    • Kiln Depths chest: every 8 h per character
    • Contracts & bounties: 00:00 UTC
    • Leaderboards: 1st of month 00:00 UTC
    • Boss bundles: max 3 per UTC day

    ◆Channels and presence

    • 1,000 players per channel (soft cap 900). New channels open automatically (netcode).
    • Party members follow the leader's channel. Switching happens at waypoints, out of combat, with a 10 s cooldown.
    • Names are coloured by level difference (grey ≤ −5, green −4…−2, white ±1, yellow +2…+4, red ≥ +5) and elites carry a ★. No open-world PvP: duels and the Sand Arena only (ADR-021).

    ◆Party and chat

    • Parties of 4, with XP shared by contribution (+10% per extra member) and loot as free-for-all with per-player instanced drops (no ninja looting).
    • Chat tabs: General (channel), Party, System, Whisper, plus a Trade tab in town. Rate-limited, with a profanity filter and report/mute.
    • Party Finder for the dungeon, bosses and the convoy (role tags are volunteer jobs, never class locks).

    ◆Inspection and power

    • Others can see your equipment and a 0–1,000 power score (slot-weighted gear quality). Builds and skills are hidden by default. You can opt in to share your Atlas/Codex.

◆PvP: duels and the Sand Arena

    • Duels (L15+): consensual 1v1 anywhere outside towns; challenge from the player menu, 10 m ring, first to 1 life (no death penalty). Self buffs shine here (skills).
    • Sand Arena (L30+): instanced 2v2 and 4v4 rated queues at the Amber Gate colosseum (the circular arena on the map). Best of 3 rounds, 3 min each; team buffs and support builds matter. Season rating feeds the public rankings.
    • PvP uses a damage coefficient (×0.6 vs players) and halves control durations; players can be displaced by players only in the arena. No open-world PvP in the MVP (ADR-021).

◆World boss — Kharuun, the Ashen Caravan (L30+)

    • Every 4 h at 00/04/08/12/16/20 UTC, a 45-minute window, announcements at 10/5/1 min, in every channel.
    • Rewards: a participation bundle (gold + bound Awakening Seed, max 3 bundles/day across both bosses); recognition for first strike, closing strike, top damage and top 10; a 5% Caravan Ward roll per bundle. Premium is bound and capped.

    ◆Dungeon — Kiln Depths (L20+)

    • 4-player instance (solo allowed), 3 encounters, enter any time. One reward chest per 8 h.
    • Monthly leaderboards: solo clean clear and four-player clean clear at level 40, frozen on the first of the month at 00:00 UTC. Rewards are cosmetic + currency.

    ◆Lantern Convoy — monthly team event (L30–40)

    • 16 players in 4 squads of 4, on the first Saturday of each month at 12:00 UTC (20:00 Asia/Kuala_Lumpur).
    • Stages: light roadside beacons while guarding carriers → repair wagon wheels and escort through ambushes → defeat the raider commander at the sealed gate before the lantern fuel runs out.
    • Each participant must contribute in 2+ stages (damage, support or objectives). One monthly bound Convoy Cache per account.
    • Budget: ≤ 24 event enemies, ≤ 3 large telegraphs at once, restrained effects. Low keeps every danger outline.

    ◆Team position events (proposals, OPEN-8)

In these events every player picks a position at sign-up, like the classic trade-run jobs: one side hauls goods, one escorts, one robs. A position adds one active and one passive event ability and a job that earns points, so support and objective players score as much as damage dealers. All are opt-in instances, so ADR-021 (no open-world PvP) still holds. The owner picks which ones ship in the first release. Data: events.json.

The signature caravan fantasy: traders haul cargo across the basin, guards escort them, raiders ambush the road. L25–40 (scaled to 40) · 3 windows a day, 45 min each; a run lasts 15–20 min

    Trader caravan

Buy cargo at Amber Gate, ride the cargo beast, sell at Saltway market. More intact crates = more points.

    ◆ Haggle Horn — nearby guards +15% move speed for 6 s
◇ Loaded: cannot attack while carrying; shows on every minimap

    Guard caravan

Protect traders and crates; repair wagon wheels; break ambushes.

    ◆ Shield Wall — a 6 m arc that blocks projectiles for 4 s
    ◇ Escort: +10% damage within 12 m of a trader

    Raider raiders

Ambush the road, crack crates and carry stolen cargo to the Raider camp.

◆ Smoke Ambush — stealth for 5 s or until you attack
◇ Light-footed: +8% move speed off the road
    1. Buy cargo (traders choose value vs weight)
    2. 3 road legs with 2 ambush points each; NPC bandits fill gaps
    3. Delivery at Saltway market or stolen crates delivered to the Raider camp
    4. Score: crates delivered vs crates stolen
Rewards: Trade Seals (bound event currency) by points → cosmetics, mount skins, Caravan Ward shards; weekly cap
Why it's fun: Clear roles with different play styles; tense escort moments; traders are a new non-combat way to contribute.
Risks: Biggest scope: PvP flagging, cargo actor, two-sided balance, griefing rules. Needs ~2 milestones.

Recommendation: MVP / first release: Lantern Rush (small, instanced, 3 clear positions) plus Last Light (co-op, no PvP). First content update: Caravan Run (the signature trade-run fantasy). Later, with guilds: Siege of the Jade Seal.

    ◆Stalls (player shops)

See Items & economy. Physical stalls on town market pads, with the gold-or-one-orb rule.

    ◆Accounts and safety

Test phases use one-time access keys (Alpha test). Real authentication, email verification, recovery and session revocation; 3 character slots; deletion with 24 h recovery. Admission tokens are short-lived, and zone servers never see passwords.
