Auto-Hunt & Auto-Quest
Settings, behaviour and safety rules for online Auto-Hunt, 4-hour offline Auto-Hunt (visible actor), Auto-Quest and click-to-travel (auto-walk + auto-mount from the map) — all using the same validated commands as manual play.
Automation is a first-class mobile feature, modelled on Silkroad mobile titles. It never gets better stats or speed than a careful manual player. It sends the same commands through the same validation. Manual play stays more efficient (≈ 100% vs ≈ 70–80% online auto vs ≈ 35% offline), which rewards attention without punishing busy days.
◆Auto-Hunt presets (up to 3 per character)

| Pet | companion pickup on | on |
◆Online Auto-Hunt behaviour
- Pick a target by the preset filter and priority, inside the radius, with a reachable path.
- Approach with Smart Chain, and use the movement gem only to close distance or to leave a telegraph.
- Telegraph dodge: step out of circle/cone/line telegraphs using the shortest safe path (a basic but reliable heuristic).
- Loot by filter, keep buffs up, use potions at the thresholds.
- Stops on: a player whispering or trading (prompt), a GM check, an elite outside the filter attacking (it defends, then resumes), or anything listed in Return to town.
- Any manual input pauses automation for 5 s, then it resumes (it can be set to stay paused).
◆Offline Auto-Hunt (from level 30, up to 4 h/day)
- When you log out with offline hunting on, your character stays in the world as a visible actor for up to 4 hours. It occupies a channel slot, can be seen and inspected, and fights with the same rules.
- It is limited to the leased area, normal monsters only (no elites, bosses or events), and potions are consumed for real.
- Receipts: every kill/loot is written to a durable receipt. On return you get a summary (XP, items, potions used). The same receipts feed the website's Caravan Ledger (public site), so you can follow an offline session from a phone browser without logging in. It is free in the closed alpha and premium (convenience only) later.
- Server restarts and crashes resume from receipts, with no duplicated rewards and no rewards for downtime.
◆Auto-Quest
- Follows the lowest-numbered incomplete main quest (side content only when enabled).
- Executes the quest's steps from
quests.json: travel (mount and waypoints when they save > 60 s), talk/interact, hunt/collect using the active Auto-Hunt preset restricted to quest targets, escort, turn-in. - Pauses for choices (
choosesteps), dungeon/boss entry (needs confirmation) and dialogue you've set to "read". - Shows a dotted path ribbon on the ground and the current step in the quest tracker.
◆Click-to-travel (auto-walk + auto-mount)
Click (or tap) any point on the world map (M) or the minimap. If that point is accessible, the character walks
there by itself, and mounts first when the trip is long. The rules live in controls.json → clickToTravel.
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Trigger | Mouse1 on map/minimap · gamepad A on the map cursor · phone: tap, then Travel here (no accidental trips) |
| Extra stops | Shift + click (gamepad X, phone long-press), up to 5 |
| Accessible | on the region navmesh (no deep water, cliffs, closed gates or interiors), path ≤ 8,192 m; else snap to the nearest reachable point within 25 m; else a red "Can't reach there" pin and no movement |
| Higher-level areas | allowed, with a "Dangerous: L<min>–<max>" pin |
| Auto-mount | trip > 40 m, a mount owned (level 10, quest Q1.11), out of combat, mounts allowed in the area. 1 s mount, fastest owned mount |
| On arrival | stay mounted, except at an NPC, chest, portal or gathering node: dismount and interact |
| Waypoint offer | if a discovered waypoint saves > 60 s, the pin offers Use waypoint. Never automatic for manual travel |
| Cancel | any movement input, dodge, attack or skill, taking damage, Esc / B / the HUD chip |
| Feedback | jade pin + dotted ground ribbon (same as Auto-Quest), map line with ETA (on foot vs mounted), HUD chip "Travelling… 1:12" |
Server: the path is navmesh A* with string pulling, recomputed when blocked; other players never block it. The client sends ordinary move intents validated for speed and position, at most one travel command per 250 ms. Travel has no speed bonus, no teleport and no shortcuts. Auto-Quest uses the same planner (plus waypoints when they save more than 60 s).
◆Safety, fairness, anti-bot
- One command path: manual, Smart Chain, Auto-Hunt, Auto-Quest and offline actors are identical to the server.
- The server rate-limits commands and validates every cast/move (range, line of sight, cooldown, mana).
- Third-party bots gain nothing extra because official automation exists. Input heuristics flag 24/7 accounts for review.
- Offline time is capped per rolling 24 h, and there is no stacking across characters on one account beyond the cap.
