2026-10-05 20:44 UTC · Installed with the owner's approval (2026-10-06), home directory only, no sudo, no shell-profile edits: Rust 1.99.0 via rustup-init.sh from https://sh.rustup.rs (29,915 bytes, sha256 7d0ea0f8...70af, -y --no-modify-path --profile default; ~/.rustup 1.3 GB, ~/.cargo 11 MB) and .NET SDK 10.0.401 via dotnet-install.sh from https://dot.net/v1 (63,563 bytes, sha256 082f7685...6eb2e, --channel LTS; ~/.dotnet 649 MB). Commands are symlinked in ~/.local/bin (cargo, rustc, rustup, rustfmt, cargo-fmt, cargo-clippy, clippy-driver, rustdoc, dotnet). Re-check any time: bash tools/setup/toolchain-smoke.sh rust|dotnet.
2026-10-05 20:44 UTC · Unity NOT installed in this task. Pin recorded: Unity 6.3 LTS (supported to December 2027; 6.0 LTS support ends October 2026; unity.com checked 2026-10-06). This Mac has no Homebrew, so a command-line install means downloading the Hub from Unity directly; the licence still needs the owner's Unity ID. Handed to a separate fresh session.
